Documentation

Set it up once. Then just ask.

tony doesn't call a model. Your coding agent writes the review, and tony turns it into a page you can share.

Setup

Three steps, once per machine.

01

Install

$ curl -fsSL https://tony-cli.com/install.sh | sh
02

Connect it to your agent

Works with Claude Code, Cursor, Amp and Codex. Restart your agent after.

$ tony connect
03

Sign in

Opens your browser. It tells you when you're done.

$ tony login

In a cloud sandbox, like Amp or Codex cloud, skip this. Your agent shows you a link to approve instead.

Using it

Ask your agent.

> review this branch with tony

Or name a range: review main...HEAD with tony. You get a link back.

What comes back

A page, not a chat message.

01

Every change explained

What it does now, what it did before, and why it matters.

02

Blast radius

Code outside the diff that the change affects.

03

How it works

Each flow the change touches, step by step, before and after.

Commands

The rest.

tony connect [claude|cursor|amp|codex]
Connect one agent instead of all of them.
tony logout
Sign this machine out.
tony update
Update tony.
tony uninstall
Remove tony and everything it saved.

Trouble

Your agent can't find tony?

Quit it fully and reopen it. Agents only load their tools at startup. Still nothing? Run tony connect again.
